Chinese New Year in KK
Firstly Happy Niu Year to everyone :)
How is everyone's Chinese New Year? A lot of ang pow's? Hehe... Well as for me, this year my family and I went to KK for CNY. The last time I was in KK that was year 2007 also during CNY. But actually I went to Sandakan first because my dad works there. Mum and bro flew from Kuching to KK. Arrived Sandakan on the 24th January then the next day drive to KK. The drive from Sandakan to KK is about 4 hours. On the way to Sandakan we stop at Ranau because it is on the way to KK.
Took some shots. Was really foggy and cold. Nice =)
Day 1 (new year eve) 25/1/09
  We also went to Kinabalu Park. The entrance fee is RM3. For those who like to go to this kind of place recommended to go :) Dad, Mum and I Quite foggy  Mum and I My bro and I Inside the Kinabalu park got some lodges for people to stay for holidays or those who want to climb Mount Kinabalu. The lodges looks really inviting. It even make mum say we should try stay here next trip. Yay~ :D Here are pictures of some of the lodges  Mountain race. We arrived KK around 2pm. We checked in hotel first. After that we walked to Center Point and Warisan Square shopping centre because it is just near by. Then at night we had our new year eve dinner at the hotel we are staying.  Our hotel during the day At nightAfter dinner we went to 1 Borneo. That shopping centre is just like Mid Valley. I meant the concept but it is also as huge as Mid Valley. KK improved so much. In few years time they even going to open KK Suria. Just like KLCC. ~_~ So nice ar... Lots of tourist in KK also.   Below is the view from our room in the hotel. The building on the left is Centre Point and the brown building is Warisan Square Partial sea side view. That is what I like about KK. So many nice beaches and beautiful scenery. I stayed in KK before for 4 years. That time nothing much now.. W.O.W
=================================================================== Day 2 ( 1st day of new year) 26/1/09
First day of CNY. My parents plan to drive to a resort called Rasa Ria just to but they don't allow outsiders go in liao. I wonder why.. so they drove to Karambunai. I did not go because I went outting with Andrea :D also with her bf and her friends Grace and Evonne. Hehe I had a great time with them :) We had KFC for breakfast just with Andrea and Clement. Because her friends not yet arrive. After arrive liao we went to 1 Borneo to watch movie. Watched Wedding Game. NICE~~!!! Hahaha..
 After that we took pictures :D
  Me, Miao, Miao Gong, Grace and Evonne. After that around 4 like that they went home liao and then my parents were also in 1 Borneo after they go to Karambunai. So after I said my goodbyes to them, but will also meet Andrea again =p Hehe~~ I go find my parents. That time I was so.. hungry. I decided to try Yogur Berry. I saw it through Andrea's pics in facebook. Looks delicious. But to be honest.. I don't like yogurt de.. but.. I have no idea why I bother to try this one. I have to say it taste nice. Because I get to choose the toppings I want. Yup sure got chocolate de xD
  I order this set. Yummy :) Toppings I can choose 3 but I got 4 cause put wrong stuff. But it still taste good surprisingly. Toppings : sprinkles, coco balls, chocolate syrup and read bean :D
I like the fish.
 In the end my mum and bro also try.

Day 3
Today we went back to Sandakan. Start driving around 2pm. But before going back we went to Tanjung Aru beach for a look see.
 Too bad not much time to walk around the beach. Lovely weather.
Then again we stop by Ranau again on our way to Sandakan because mum wants to see vege and flowers. :)
 We took more pictures XD A far view of the waterfall. It is behind us. The picture above. If u see properly. Nice clouds.
 After that we went to the nursery. Not kindergarten ar... I will blog in another post for that because I plan to put pictures only. Then dad bring us to a place called
 He said it is also a world heritage.
   There are 3 gardens. There are Australian , English and Borneo Garden. I just took this picture. Because even if you steal the flower and tiok fine RM800. Nevermind one... you still can get a TV. :)   This place really look a bit like Greece. The whole place was design by the Australians.

 After that we continue our drive. Then suddenly we stop by a place got this bridge. Hehe.. Actually got a lot de.. They build those bridges because the farmers that stay there their farm are at the other side of the river. Their farms are like 20-25 hectars. HUGE o.o
  Then reach Sandakan around 8pm. I guess that is all. It was a great New Year. Hope you all also have a great one too. :)
